Warren spent three years at Protec before signing for Barnet FC Inventive, skilful striker who loves to run at defenders. Warren’s good form for Barnet at youth level saw him promoted to the first team squad that won the Football Conference Championship in 2005.

Pete Edwards

Protec Football Academy founder Pete Edwards began his football career over 20 years ago and worked as a Fitness Coach for Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City, before moving on to coaching academy football at Barnet. Pete formed Protec in 1995 with one main aim in mind: To offer talented youngsters the opportunity to maximise their achievements both on and off the pitch, with a unique football training and education package designed to develop the skills required in today's fast-paced professional game.

Craig MaskellCraig Maskell

Craig has been instrumental in the development of Protec. Before becoming a qualified coach, Craig had a distinguished career in league football as a forward, playing over 400 games with Southampton, Huddersfield Town, Swindon Town, Reading and Leyton Orient. He left League Football and became player-coach at Hampton & Richmond Borough, then joined Aylesbury United before joining Protec.

 

Justin MosleyJustin Mosley

Justin joined Protec as Academy Manager after coaching at Arsenal. He is the current first team manager at Enfield 1893 and is a qualified UEFA coach and goalkeeping coach. Justin deals with the day-to-day control of Protec's North London operation.

Tim ZobboTim Zobbo

Tim is a UEFA qualified coach ad is Head of Youth Development at Protec. He has been with us for over ten years and has led the Protec Barnet u18 and 19 squads to league wins in both the Conference and Southern Floodlit League. He also took the u16 squad to County Champions in the 2009/10 campaign. Tim is in control of youth development for all age groups from u11 to u19

John CumberbatchJohn Cumberbatch

John heads up Protec's South London Academy and has been with us as a coach for 10 years. John is a UEFA qualified coach and has managed in the Ryman League.

Mark CumberbatchMark Cumberbatch

Protec Coach Mark Cumberbatch started as a Protec player and was signed by Barnet FC from the Academy at professional level. After leaving Barnet he played non-league at Tonbridge Angels and currently plays in the Ryman Premier League. Mark is a UEFA qualified coach and holds a BTEC diploma in Sports Science.

 

Neil Smith FA CoachNeil Smith


Protec coach Neil Smith is our senior and junior schools       coordinator for our Development and Progression centres. Neil is also a UEFA qualified coach.

 

 

Ken Fisher

Ken has been a coach Protec for 3 years and manages the Protec Croydon u18 and u19 squads. He has been a scout for Arsenal for a number of years and is a qualified UEFA coach.
