A Level Subjects

 

 

This option places candidates with proven ability selected by trial into one of our established A level sixth form schools. At our sixth form centres a range of subjects are available to study in smaller classes enabling teaching staff to adopt a more personal approach to meet the individual needs of students to aid academic achievement.

There are a variety of subjects on offer /  available to suit your needs at A level.


 

Entry Requirements

 

  • You must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Predicted GCSE grades at A to C.
  • Acceptance onto A level courses are subject to suitable references.
  • Satisfactory attendance records from your previous school or college.



 

Program of Study

 

  • You will study for 3 selected A level subjects.
  • A levels will be incorporated into daily classes over a 5 day week period including free study time.
  • During "free study" pc's and a variety of resources including library facilities will be available.


 

Progression


Progression onto second year is subject to satisfactory results at AS Level as well as acceptable attendance and punctuality records.

 


 

Course Duration


Full time.

 





 

Training and Games

    Training on this program is mapped out over a five day period with games played on Wednesday during the day and some evenings.

  • Protec teams represent various institutions and play in some of the best leagues at u17 18 and 19 (see leagues page) and also play regularly against professional sides.
  • All of our coaches are UEFA qualified and are CRB checked.






 

Facilities




  • You will train and study at one of our school facilities.
  • Winter training will take place at our accredited centre. This offers a full size Astroturf pitch, numerous grass area's as well as a fully equipped gymnasium.

Costs if you are U18

  • If you are u18 and have been a permanent resident in the E.U. for the last 3 years course costs are free.
