Development Centre Trials
Protec Football Academy have joined forces with championship club Reading
F.C to form the first new Reading Development centre in London and
Hertfordshire, with a second planned to open in South London in February
2012. We are looking for players aged 11 to 16 to trial for this new
exciting football program which is now open.
COACHING
You will be coached by our team of U.E.F.A qualified coaches and visiting
coaches from the Reading academy, there will be arranged training sessions
and games against Reading academy squads at the Hogwood centre of
excellence and the dome centre based at the Medaski stadium to evaluate
progress throughout the season.
Each age group will also have the opportunity to play against other development centres and non league opposition in friendly matches arranged by Protec during the season to assess the progress of each individual..
Eastern junior alliance
We will be entering two Protec elite teams in the E.J.A league for the
2012 season many of our players have gone on to compete in various senior
leagues and some have even stepped up to the Premiership and the Football
League, Three of last season’s boys went on to get Y.T.S contracts with
league clubs.
The aim of the EJA is to provide the youth of the Eastern Home Counties with the best standard of football excellence outside of youth teams representing the Premiership and Football League Clubs. The teams competing in this league are drawn from various senior and step 7 clubs in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, London, Middlesex and Suffolk who wish to provide their youth players with the highest possible standard of football.
